Dr Sarah Redfern is a born and bred, beach loving Aucklander who feels
right at home at St Heliers Medical Centre.
She graduated from Otago Medical School in 1991 and has worked as a GP for
20 years in practices in South
Auckland, Mt Eden and St Heliers from 2016.
Sarah enjoys the wide variety of general practice and has a special
interest in skin cancer medicine.
A keen runner (when her hamstrings allow), tramper (making her way
through the Great Walks of NZ and more), skier and world traveller.
She is the mother of 2 busy teenagers spending most of her spare time
supporting cycling, football and rowing events,as well as walking her
chocolate Labrador.
She is married to David, a mountain loving Cantabrian who
saw the light and moved to Auckland more than 20 years ago!
